Actor Gary Beadle has a career spanning 32 yrs. From 'Absolutely Fabulous to his most recent movie 'Until Death' with Jean Claude Van damme,
Gary is better known to the British public for playing the misunderstood bad boy 'Paul Truman' in BBC1's EastEnders.
Following a successful 3 yrs on the show Gary decided it was time to move on and try his hand at something new.
After 2 years of writing with his good friend Peter Richardson of 'The Comic Strip' fame, Gary has helped create a new online comedy show entitled
'Call Mickey Man For Hire' in which Gary plays the title role.
"I really think there is something new to be had in British comedy and sex together with comedy is something I really wanted to explore".
Peter Richardson
Peter Richardson has produced and starred in over 40 Comic Strip films including Five Go Mad In Dorset and The Strike, which both won awards, plus A Fistful Of Travellers Cheques, Four Men In A Car and Supergrass, a successful feature comedy released in 1985.
The Comic Strip also starred Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmondson, Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, Robbie Coltrane, Alexei Sayle, Nigel Planer and many other well known British comedians. A DVD of the complete Comic Strip collection was released last year.
Richardson also created the cult TV series Stella Street with John Sessions and Phil Cornwell, directing four series for BBC2 plus a movie length version for Columbia Tristar.
John Sessions and Phil Cornwell won Best Actor for Stella Street (2003) at the Aspen Film Festival.
Other feature films written and directed by Richardson include Churchill ? The Holywood Years (2004), starring Christian Slater and Neve Campbell, The Pope Must Die (1991) with Robbie Coltrane as a pope elected by mistake, and Eat The Rich (1986), an anarchic, punk comedy.
Apart from creating a TV comic for BBC2, The Glam Metal Detectives (1993) starring Gary Beadle and Phil Cornwell, he has also directed several dozen commercials and pop promos, including work for Kate Bush and Chrissie Hynde.
Call Mickey (2007), co-written by Richardson and starring Gary Beadle, recounting the bizarre adventures of a black male escort, Mickey - is about to be released.

Over the past 3 years he has worked closely with Peter Richardson, as Executive Producer on The Comic Strip film Sex Actually, and on both the TV series of Stella Street and the Stella Street movie. He played a crucial part in helping secure the backing of Columbia Tristar who financed the film.
Nick was also closely involved with the production of Pathe backed Churchill - The Hollywood Years.
